ECC is performing a wide range of performance-based remedial investigations and corrective actions at Fort Riley, an Installation Restoration Program and Superfund site impacted by various solvents, semi-volatiles, petroleum, oil, and lubricants (POL), metals, and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in various media. ECC is currently performing multiple investigations, and is completing several remedial actions (operations), long-term monitoring, and/or operations and maintenance services across the Installation. Additionally, ECC is responsible for the ongoing cleanup of a Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) site, as well as the implementation of remedies and/or site closures through the state’s voluntary risk-based cleanup program (Kansas Risk-Based Corrective Action) and in accordance with Department of Defense requirements and procedures (i.e., Defense Environmental Restoration Program).
