Under contract with the US Navy, ECC performed the Contingency Location Build Project in Larissa, Greece. ECC constructed two pre-engineered large-area multi-purpose hangars (totaling 44,132 square feet), two 200-by-110-foot hangar bays, a 13,778-square-foot aircraft maintenance support and supply building, a 150,694-square-foot taxiway, 129,167 square feet of additional aircraft parking and an access apron, and a vehicular parking area. ECC also performed upgrades and improvements to existing taxiways to provide adequate routes for the safe operation and movement of aircraft to and from runways, the aircraft parking apron, access aprons, and hangars; as well as demolition of existing aircraft concrete and site work in preparation for new utilities and facility construction.
